Police use water cannons as protesters denounce vote-rigging allegations in Ankara
ANKARA
Police launched a crackdown on hundreds who had gathered in front of the Supreme Election Board (YSK) in Ankara on April 1. The protesters claim that there was widespread vote-rigging by the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the March 30 local elections.
