Ex-army chief arrested upon PM's order, says retired police official

A retired police intelligence unit chief has said former Chief of General Staff was arrested on the order of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, dismissing the account of the prime minister, who then appeared critical of the ex-army chief's detention.
