Erdoğan's dilemma

The prime minister insists that his party will be the winner in the upcoming elections. What is really interesting about this claim is that no one holds differently. Neither the Republican People's Party (CHP) nor the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) is asserting that it will rank first in the elections. If they were to make such a claim, it would not be convincing. Almost everybody agrees that the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) will be the winner of the elections; so then, why does Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan base his election campaign on this claim?
