Turkey grew by 4 pct in 9 months, closer to year-end goal

ISTANBUL (CIHAN)- Istanbul Today's Zaman Turkey's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by a greater-than-expected 4.4 percent year-on-year in the third quarter, data from the Turkish Statistics Institute (TurkStat) have shown, boosted by strong domestic demand which offset a weaker export performance.
