French president to visit Turkey in late January

French President Francois Hollande will visit Turkey on January 27-28, Trend reports.
He will discuss bilateral cooperation, Turkey’s bid for integration in the EU and the situation in Syria.
French Minister for Industrial Renewal Arnaud Montebourg said in October that Hollande was planning the visit, although he did not specify the date.
French President Francois Mitterrand visited Turkey in 1992. No other French president has visited Turkey since.
