U.S. does not answer Ankara’s official inquiry whether Turkish diplomatic mission was wiretapped

Ankara. Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has announced that for more than a month and a half the U.S. has not answered Ankara’s official inquiry whether the Turkish diplomatic mission in Washington was wiretapped, the Turkish Milliyet daily writes on its website, referring to the written reply to a parliamentary question by the deputy chairperson of the main opposition party Republican People’s Party Umut Oran in relation with the foreign media reports that the U.S. wiretapped the diplomatic missions of 38 countries in Washington, including the one of Turkey.
