UPDATE 1-Turkish lira, bonds steady ahead of rate decision

Aug 16 (Reuters) - Turkish bonds and the lira were slightly firmer on Friday as investors shifted focus to a central bank meeting next week in which the bank was seen holding rates and sticking with its tight monetary policy.
