Turkey signs new bilateral air service agreement with Russia

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (the authority responsible for civil aviation activities in Turkey) signed a new bilateral air service agreement with its Russian counterpart. The number of flights between the two countries and slots that will be allocated to designated airlines are to increase. Reportedly, 61 additional frequencies were made available, 28 of which from Ankara, 12 of which from Istanbul and 21 from Trabzon and 28 to Krasnodar, Ufa, Kazan and Omsk.
