Turkish police are looking into what they claim is a “Russian trail” in the murder of Chechens in Istanbul. A police spokesman has told reporters that a Russian killer whose last name was claimed to be Zhirkov shot dead Chechen nationals in the center of Istanbul a week ago. There has been no official comment from Moscow so far. Meanwhile, some analysts slammed the statement as irresponsible. Others say that this is a provocation against Russia.
