"Turkey Sells 8.22 Billion Liras of Domestic Bonds, Meeting Monthly Goal

Turkey sold a nominal 8.22 billion liras of domestic bonds at three auctions today, meeting its sale goal for the month.
The government sold 2.58 billion liras of 336-day bills to yield an average annual 7.79 percent, according to data published by the Treasury in Ankara. It also sold 4.55 billion liras of April 25, 2012 zero coupon bonds at a yield of 8.07 percent and 1.09 billion liras of Jan. 15, 2020 fixed rate bonds at a 9.18 percent average yield."
