A top judge says he is investigating allegations that Turkey's Islamic-oriented government tapped the telephones of the Court of Appeals, a bastion of secularism.
The statement came after Turkish media reports, citing court officials, said the Justice Ministry had ordered the phone-tapping of top judges and other members of the judiciary."
