Turkey falls short in meeting the growing domestic demand for energy and becomes more reliant on foreign energy, NewEurope e-source informs Nov. 15.
In 2007, the country’s domestic resources covered only about 25.5% of the domestic energy demand, maintains Oguz Turkyilmaz, board member of the World Energy Council Turkish Member Committee."
