ANKARA, Turkey — Turkey's state-run news agency says Kurdish rebels have fired 10 mortar rounds at an army base close to the Iraqi border, wounding one soldier.
The attack on Wednesday came two days after a group of Kurdish rebels and Kurds crossed into Turkey from northern Iraq on a peace mission in response to a government initiative to end the fighting."
