ANKARA: Anti-Chinese demonstrations were held across Turkey on Friday as the government grappled with the dilemma of showing solidarity with Muslim Uighurs in Xinjiang without angering China. Thousands of Turks and Uighur openly blamed China for the scores of deaths in Xinjiang, while the Islamist-rooted government in Ankara has denounced the unrest, but not directly blamed Beijing."
