There are a few odd things about this W hotel, among them the metal detector at the front door and the fact that some prices are given in euros, some in dollars, and some in Turkish lira. Still, the first W in Europe is a terrific hotel. Not only is it fun to stay in, but it is also spearheading the transformation of a neighborhood of old row houses into a high-end shopping district."
