"EU should show fairness in Cyprus issue

Metin Yalcin, Chairman of the Management Board of the Turkish Cypriot Businessmen’s Association (ISAD), asked the policy makers of the EU to “Approach the parties in Cyprus more fairly and cease hostile policies which are increasing the gap between the parties”. Yalcin announced in writing that “The EU should accept that policies always leading to the mistreatment and isolation of one party are completely useless.” Yalcin stated that the most useful service to the solution would be to remove the existing differences between the economic standing of the parties and said that voluntary economic integration must be provided beforehand.
