PRESIDENT OBAMA won praise this week for saying, during a speech to Turkey's Parliament, that the United States 'is not, and never will be, at war with Islam.' This corrective message of goodwill Monday was carried across much of the Muslim world via the satellite TV networks Al Jazeera and Al Arabiya. But Obama also said things a Turkish audience, in particular, needed to hear from an American president."
