"Obama attends Alliance of Civilizations forum in Istanbul
US President Barack Obama, who is paying an official visit to Turkey, will take part at the Alliance of Civilizations taking place in Istanbul today.
Obama is also scheduled to meet with leaders of different religious groups - Muslims, Christians and Jews - who are living together in Istanbul. He is also expected to pay a visit to the symbol of this living-together - the St Sofia basilica, now a museum, accompanied by the Turkish Prime Minister Reyep Tayyip Erdogan. Obama's tour around Istanbul will include also a visit to the Blue Mosque, one of the largest Muslim temples in the world."
