ISTANBUL - Istanbul consumers submitted a total of 5,289 complaints in 2008 to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Consumer Rights Police Headquarters.
The research of the consumer complaint bureau for 2008 has been released on the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Web site. Considering the number of people consuming goods each day and the size of the population, it is apparent that not too many people in Istanbul sound off."
