Turkey has accelerated preparations to establish a regional atomic energy agency among Turkic countries.
The Turkish Atomic Energy Agency (TAEK), a branch of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, is continuing studies for establishing a 'Turkic Atomic Energy Agency,' which is expected to serve as an umbrella organization for nuclear efforts in Central Asia."
