There are only a few counties with whom Pakistan has very close and integrated relations and Turkey happens to be one such country. This is, however, interesting to note that excellent relations with these countries are by default and not because the respective Pakistan governments have done anything worthwhile to achieve this status. I do not think as if our respective rulers had ever made any serious and meaningful attempt to harness even closer ties with China, which turns out to be our most trusted and time-tested friend."
