"EU says ‘terrorists,’ European press says ‘freedom fighters’

It has been a long time since the European Union officially designated the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) as a terrorist organization, but the European press is still hesitant to attach the “terrorist organization” label to the PKK.
Although there are minor differences among member countries in terms of attributes used to describe the PKK, none of them use the designation “terrorist.” Some newspapers and news agencies consider it sufficient to note that the PKK is included on the EU’s list of terrorist organizations, and members of the terrorist organization are even invited on to television programs."
