"Mediterranean seal observation mission started again

In the town of Foça, situated just northwest of İzmir, a mission to observe Mediterranean seals and their habitat has again begun.
Zafer Kızılkaya, a board member of the Association of Underwater Searches, or SAD, said, �We started a mission concerning the current state of Mediterranean seals, to determine the threats that are putting this rare species at risk and to collect information that will be brought to the attention of protected zone administration programs.� "
