"GMR’s consortium’s Turkey airport project achieves financial closure
Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport in Turkey, which is being expanded by a GMR-led consortium, has achieved financial closure, with ABN Amro Bank NV and Yapi Kredi banks’ approval of a loan of euro 336 million to complete the project.
The money will be used for the terminal and ground operations at Istanbul’s second airport.
Mr Yetik K. Mert, Chief Executive Officer of the airport, announced that the credit would also be used for building the new international terminal building."
