"Turkish top general criticized the EU for its definition of Turkey
Turkey's Chief of General Staff Gen. Yasar Buyukanit criticized on Wednesday the 'democratic-secular' or 'extremely secular' definitions used for Turkey during a reception held on the occasion of Israel's national day. Buyukanit's remarks came one day after EU Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn said the European Commission supported 'democratic secularism' in Turkey."
