IIncreasing tension between Turkey's Islamist-rooted AKP government and the judiciary could turn into a crisis, commentators and analysts warn on Thursday. Turkey's Supreme Court said Wednesday "the independence of the judiciary can not be digested," and criticized the government for meddling in the judiciary and attempt to create a "judiciary controlled by an executive body." The AKP slammed this harsh statement, saying it cannot be accepted. In a move to soothe concerns Turkish president signaled he could step in to resolve the conflict. "
