A Democratic senator who two years ago blocked the nomination of a U.S. ambassador to Yerevan – on the grounds that he had declined to qualify the World War I-era killings of Armenian killings in the Ottoman Empire as "genocide" – has said he will do the same if President George W. Bush's new ambassadorial nominee also fails to use proper wording for the killings."
