Put aside scores of other relatively less important issues, we may say that there are two prominent political problems of Turkey: Political Islam and separatism, or if we talk with the language of the famous White Book � the so-called secret constitution that outlines main political goals as well as the threat perception of the country � the fundamentalist threat and ethnic Kurdish separatist threat. These two prominent �threats� the country faces compete for first rank. Sometimes fundamentalism, sometimes separatist terrorism becomes the most pressing headache of the country."
