Professor at Istanbul University, Dr. Nedret Tanyolaç Öztokat, will receive the French Order of Academic Palms today. The Order is a prestigious award given to people who have contributed to the spread of French culture. Öztokat has published many articles in both France and Turkey and has translated the works of Todorov, Duras, and Camus into Turkish."
