( dpa )- US Vice President Dick Cheney on Monday extended support to Turkey's ongoing fight against Kurdish separatists based in northern Iraq, Turkish media reported.
In Ankara for a whirlwind visit, Cheney held talks with President Abdullah Gul , Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and military chief General Yasar Buyukyanit . No statements to the press were made."
