The leaders of divided Cyprus are to talk peace once more. The Turkish and Greek Cypriot leaders are meeting to try to bridge the differences which threaten Turkey's bid to join the European Union. Demetris Christofias took over as Greek Cypriot President from Tassos Papadopoulous. Papadopoulos made little progress on the issue. Christofias is refusing to contemplate failure."
