says European Parliament United Left Group member Francis Wurtz
The President of the European Parliament Left Group, Francis Wurtz, stated that his group was not the bureau of the Greek Cypriot Communist Party AKEL at the EP.
Wurtz, who is also a member of the EP High Level Contact Group with Turkish Cypriots, answered questions put to him by the ABHaber news portal. He said that the last visit the Group had made to northern Cyprus was very positive and emphasised that they had made several important meetings with politicians as well as with representatives from the Committee on Missing Persons."
