In a recent press release following his interview with a German newspaper where he noted that he might leave Turkey, Fazil Say says he fears of darkness of Medieval Ages dominating Turkey. He accused Erkan Mumcu who at the time was the Culture Minister of censoring his work and Education Ministry of aiming at eliminating art from education system"
