"PKK members looking to flee, former member says A former member of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) who recently surrendered to Turkish security forces in the southeastern province of Hakkari said under oath that all militants located in the PKK’s base camps were eager to flee and abandon the group, according to a document published by the Hakkari Governor’s Office. “All of the organization’s members want to break free just like I did,” said M.B., who is of Syrian descent, according to testimony published by the Governor’s Office on Monday."
