Turkey's military denied on Tuesday that generals, whom the prime minister wants to stay out of politics, had held secret talks with the presidential candidate of the Islamic-leaning ruling party. The denial came a day after Parliament held a first round of voting on the presidential candidacy of Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul, a devout Muslim."
