Golf tourism to Turkey, which is experiencing strong growth, is expected to bring in annual revenue of 500 million euros in 2010.
Speaking to the Anatolia news agency, Antalya Golf Club General Director Uğur Budak said golf tourism underwent an unfortunate period last year. He added that tourists played golf nearly 232,000 rounds in 2005 while the number decreased to around 216,000 in 2006. �This year's figures indicate that tourists have played golf 149,556 rounds this year. Our target is to exceed 2005 figures,� he said."
