"Threat of Turkish military operation worries the Kurds

Iraqi Kurds are seriously worried about the prospects of a Turkish military intervention in northern Iraq against the PKK and are urging their leaders to tone down their tough remarks against Turkey.
Kurdish intellectuals have reportedly urged Iraqi Regional President Massoud Barzani and Regional Prime Minister Necirvan Barzani to make statements to ease the tensions between Ankara and the region."
