"Turkey to initiate vehicle identification system

Turkish Finance Ministry will initiate 'vehicle identification system' which will be helpful both for financial trailing in fuel sector and finding stolen vehicles, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported on Monday.
Vehicle identification units containing license plate information, engine number and chassis number will be established at fuel stations across the country for the new system, the report said."
