Well-known Kurdish commentator and former government Minister Sami Shoresh says Iraq shouldn't fall apart and Kurds should remain a united part of the country, but adds if division does come about then the future of the Kurdish region 'should be organized by the U.S. and Turkey under the supervision of the international community.'"
