Three ethnic Turkish candidates are elected as members to the Dutch Parliament. Coşkun Çörüz, who was already an MP, is reelected from the Christian Democrat Party. Nebahat Albayrak, candidate of the Labour Party is also reelected, and Sadet Karabulut is elected for the first time as a member of parliament. From the Democrat-66, which Turkish associations were campaining for, Fatma Koşar Kaya is waiting for the preferential votes to be counted, and sources say she will also probably be elected."
