"Turkey Rejects Recognition of Cyprus
Ankara, Oct 5 (Prensa Latina) Turkey´s Prime Minister Recep Tayyib Erdogan, challenged the European Union on Thursday, by maintaining his country´s refusal to recognize the Greek part of Cyprus if it continues denying the Turkish part.
Open relations with the Republic of Cyprus is one of the requirements EU asked of Turkey in order to admit it after 2010."
