"Dozens oil companies operating in Turkey face drastic penalties

Turkish authorities are set to impose heavy pecuniary penalties to some 30 domestic and foreign companies for unlicensed selling of petrol at gas stations, which might reach a record-high amount of more than $1 billion in total fines.
The major world players such are Shell or British Petroleum might be also affected by the decision made recently by the Turkish Energy Market Regulation Commission."
