"Ankara heads nation for 'honor killings'

A Police Department Public Order Bureau study on �honor killings� showed that the majority of cases in recent years took place in the capital city, with Istanbul coming second.
The report, assessing cases of honor killings recorded over the last six years, said 10 percent occurred in Ankara and 9 percent in Istanbul. "
