WHEN WE decided to take a trip to Italy and Turkey, we knew food would be an important part of the journey. We didn't expect it to be the most important part. Sure, the Coliseum and the Forum in Rome were cool; the Grand Canal in Venice was nifty; all the art in Florence is important and the Blue Mosque and Topkapi in Istanbul were amazing."
