The loss of 12 of our soldiers in PKK terrorist attacks has created deep frustration and anger, and the government has opted to ease the growing domestic furor by rhetoric.
This is nothing new. This time we lost 12 soldiers in a time span of only 48 hours but we have to face the realities that we have been losing our young soldiers on practically a daily basis for the past few weeks. Every day there is a huge photo of a crying orphan or a widow coupled with the news of a fallen soldier in the Turkish newspapers."
