Kanalturk TV viewers must be congratulated for having voted by a majority of 85 percent for the first ever screening in Turkey of Atom Egoyan's film �Ararat.� This vote was a welcome public display of fair play, tolerance and objectivity, remembering that the company that bought and imported the film was not able to lease it to any cinema hall for fear of adverse public reaction."
