"Croatia may enter EU before Turkey says Rehn
13:52 - 23 March 2006 - European Union Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn has hinted that Croatia may become a EU member before Turkey does.
Speaking to Austrian journalists in Brussels, Commissioner Rehn stated, 'Croatia may become the 28th member of the EU.' He went on to add that he expected Turkey to be ready for EU membership within 10 to 15 years."
