"Bulgaria ready to help Turkey with EU
12:38 - 15 March 2006 - Bulgaria is ready to help Turkey in its negotiations on EU membership, Bulgarian Defence Minister Veselin Bliznakov said at the start of a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Vecdi Gonul.
Bliznakov thanked Turkey for its valuable support in Bulgaria's accession to NATO. He noted the excellent cooperation of the two neighbours within NATO. Bliznakov said that security in the Black Sea region is of critical importance for all six countries in it."
