The New Anatolian with wire dispatches / Ankara
Unsatisfied with Ankara's initial explanation,Council of Europe (CoE) Secretary General Terry Davis last week requested that the Turkish Foreign Ministry prepare another report on Turkish contributions to secret CIA detentions and flights.
In accordance with the CoE probe into alleged secret CIA detentions and flights, Davis sent letters last November urging 46 Foreign Ministries of CoE member states to explain their countries' contributions in the alleged activities. In is reply, Turkey omitted a response to the question of whether the country has started an investigation over the issue."
