Gen. Peter Pace, the chairman of the U.S. joint chiefs of staff, told Turks on Thursday and Friday that the United States considered the separatist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) a terrorist gang and that the U.S. military will eventually act against the PKK presence in northern Iraq but that the Turks must have patience."
